About Us
At NOCEM, we believe cement is being wasted, and that it can be used smarter, without sacrificing performance. With our roots in geology and materials engineering, our journey began with years of research at KU Leuven, transforming industrial byproducts into alternative binders. We worked alongside industry leaders like Holcim, Rio Tinto, and Nucor, developing innovative and proven solutions. Yet, time and time again, we saw the same challenge: slow adoption.
Change didn’t happen in the lab, it happened on the factory floor. By stepping into production, tackling real-world challenges, and rethinking not just mix designs but the entire value chain, we found success where others saw barriers.
